TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze costs and sales by way of your sales pipeline.

Prepare detailed sales reports for the General Manager and update customer details using our in-house CRM.

Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.

Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.

Create technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.

Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.

Assist both the customer and the in-house engineering teams to help in the design of custom-made products and services.

Occasionally provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.

Working hours

Working hours are from 8:30AM to 5:30PM however there may be times when you should expect to work long or irregular hours to meet deadlines, secure deals and attend conferences and networking events. Overtime and time in lieu are offered as incentives.

What to expect

Sales Managers usually split their time between the office and visiting clients.

Your ability to bring in work will affect the success of the company, so you are likely to be judged on results. Demands to meet sales targets and profit margins may create a pressurized work environment however if you genuinely enjoy sales this will feel normal.

Travel to and from client companies, trade shows and conferences may sometimes extend the working day. Client visits usually occur on a weekly basis and very rarely if ever on a weekend.

Be prepared to travel within Thailand and international when required.

Qualifications & Work experience

As we are a multi-cultured company with many international customers, speaking English is a relevant requirement.

At least 5 years working in a similar technical based environment in a sales role.

Having a passion for sales is a required skill that will help you succeed in this role.

The following skills will greatly assist you to obtain this role:

Very comfortable working with Office365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)

Being familiar with how an IT Systems Integration company works and operates.

Business level English – you will be expected to sometime present a proposal in English to a mixture of both Thai and Westerners.

Having your own transport and driver’s license.

Being able to self-manage.

Sales skills – with a proven track record of sales.

Excellent Communication and Influencing skills.
